August Cara Box Reveal

This month I was paired up with the beautiful Sarah at Crazy Beautiful Life and I was super impressed when she managed to send me a box because she is getting married... in like a couple of weeks and is super mellow about it. Totally not a bridezilla and really sweet so go check her out! 

She knew that I have been in a recent make-up craze and she hooked me up with a ton of Mary Kay swag. If you're a long time lurker, you may remember that time I almost considered selling make-up to finance my lavish lifestyle... but yeah, then I realized I definitely do not have the social skills required to do that. I have already used up a primer and perfume sampler she sent me but some other goodies I got: 

She also sent me some gluten free pancake mix... But please pancake mix in my house will last like 17 minutes so that box is long gone BUT they were delicious! Sarah has gone gluten free and feels totally amazing now but I definitely do not have that kind of dedication. But who knows? The pancakes were delicious!

And this month I sent to Briana at Faithful Footprints so go check her out because I swear that girl is Superwoman! She is so inspirational and is the very definition of a hard worker! Good motivation for me when I decide I will sleep my entire day off and eat burritos in bed!

Cara Box Reveal!

This month marks my third Cara Box exchange and I keep having more and more fun with it. I still love and stalk my two original partners from my match, Chelsey and Laura. Both are fantastic women and this month's partners were also exceptional.

For this month, Miss Rita Marie at Champagne-n-Pizza sent me an amazing Carnival-themed package. It was great getting to find her blog and read about her home decor and the fun stuff she does with her hubby. Not to mention she always has really great, high quality pictures. 

This month I also was able to send to Camille and because she lives on the other side of the earth (Arizona) her box (hopefully) arrived just yesterday and hopefully it is all in tact! 

Now on to my goodies :)

First, please let's take a minute to appreciate how amazing this packing job is. She fit everything in this teeny box and it all fit. Mind blown.

Very pretty gold polish. I already painted my thumb randomly this gold color and I loved it. Now I just need a tan and I will be 100% bronzed goddess.

My favorite would probably be this lip gloss tin. The gloss tastes so fruity that I end up just licking it off. But how cute is this vintage tin? I am obsessed with it. 

I love the Cara Box exchanges and always look forward to them. I definitely got spoiled this month and am super excited for next month's nautical theme as well.

Oh Hey, I'm Alive and Cara Box Reveal!

So yeah it feels like I haven't blogged in forrrreeeeever and then I checked out my blog and realized the last time I blogged was on the 20th. 

Four days ago. I literally feel like it has been four weeks. 

Mainly because this week SUCKED. 

I have been sick, stressed, exhausted and generally just blegh. 

I may or may not delve into this further during the week, but for today I do want to try to keep it positive because one of the best highlights of the week was getting my Cara Box from the lovely Kiera in the mail!

So let me show you all the awesome goodies I got!

Here is the box that Kiera sent with everything in it. Well... full disclosure there was a bag of popcorn BUT I made the mistake of opening this box with my father within a 5 foot vicinity and I literally went up to grab a new memory card and by the time I had gotten back, poof! The entire bag of popcorn looked like it had been through a paper shredder. It was ugly. But I did manage to get some and it was reallly good! I am impressed Cleveland!

This is by far my favorite from the box. I'm wearing it now as I type! It's a ring that has Cleveland on the map in it. Above is an awful picture I took of it but it looks really cute in real life. Even with my little chubby fingers. 

Here is some cool body stuff including a body oil, some foot cream and a lip balm. It looks scrumptious and the oil just glides on and really sinks into your skin. It feels delicious!

And lastly, while Moose did not come in my wonderful Cara box I had to include this picture. Doesn't he look ridiculous? That's how he sits on the couch. I don't get it- it looks so uncomfortable. But he's a weirdo and a goober, so it suits him. 

Cara Box Reveal

I was so excited to participate in Kaitlyn at Wifessionals' Cara Box exchange. This month's theme was "green" which was challenging for me since I am sometimes the very opposite of green and have a closet filled to the brim with plastic bags. 

I was lucky to get the sweetest pairs, I sent to Chelsey at the Bubblehead Bride and I got an amazing box from Laura at Simply me, the way I see it. 

Here is the Texas swag I got from Laura:

This is everything together. Laura was sweet enough to add some salsa that unfortunately didn't make it all the way (RIP). 

Even Mr. Moose got some treats. They are fancy ones, too and not the cheap ones I get from Ocean State Job Lot. They came at a perfect time too. I have been stuffing Moose's pain meds into the middle of the meatball so he'll eat them. Love these!

I also got some tortillas and a cool tortilla warmer and salsa dish. Notice how they're green! Pedro was more excited about this than I was seeing as he will be the one using them (I microwave, not really cook so much). 

And lastly some awesome water bottles. I have been wanting to try a filtered water bottle for awhile, especially because the water filter at my job worked and I hate that awful feeling of wondering whenever I take a sip. After I finish a glass, I am always convinced I have some weird incurable waterborn disease. And how cute is the coffee mug? It's pink! With bling! I am enamored. 

So yes, I got spoiled this month. I got some awesome goodies allll the way from Texas. I loved doing this and will definitely sign up for a May Cara Box as well. 

Now I am off to watch some Hallmark movies, lounge in my PJ's and eat some burgers. I have been a very busy girl today and am excited to show you some of the exciting treasures I picked up rummaging through other people's yard sales!
